Lee Archard (he/him) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has practiced as a therapist and consultant for over 25 years.  He works with adolescents (ages 12+) and adults presenting with concerns related to anxiety, life stress, depression, parenting/co-parenting, grief, aging, life transitions, spirituality, and life balance. Practicing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, Lee collaborates with clients in a positive, challenging, and respectful way. He aims to help clients meet their goals, change negative thought patterns, and achieve greater happiness.

Before returning to Richmond, Lee was in private practice for eight years in the Northern Neck.  Prior to his therapy practice, Lee worked as a Senior Clinician on the Prevention Team at Chesterfield Community Services Board for 16 years. Lee also worked for The Episcopal Diocese of Virginia coordinating conferences and programs at Shrine Mont Conference Center.

Lee earned a B.A. in English from Sewanee, a M.A in Theology from Yale University, and a Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He also completed a year of general studies at St. Andrews University in Scotland.

Raised on the water in Annapolis, MD, Lee developed a passion for nature and the outdoors.  He lives in Richmond with his wife, Holly, and enjoys gardening, birding, hiking, and spending time in the Northern Neck where he grows oysters, sails, and plays in the band Deadrise.  Lee and Holly have a daughter who also lives in Richmond.
